That is my exact concern. In my last career I was often miserable because I felt I had to rush people through rather than spend the time with them that I should. My idea of a nightmare is a whole day of 15 minute consultations with patients I only see very rarely, or for the first time.
I would rather work a longer day than a rushed day - it just sits better with my personality style.
I loved the content of the work, but hated the limited time I had for direct patient care - be interesting to see what you make of it!
